We also have a large contingent in Scotland who may know the car or David Little. Just click on the JOIN THE 289 REGISTER banner. Loads of benefits and you get access to othe...

Looks great, make sure you make the most of it before winter sets in proper!
Salt on the roads is no good for exposed ally parts, if you didn't already know.

Re: Winter projects
Yes and yes. There is a master kit that includes the pump, pre and post filter and I reckon it should be possible to fit a return stabbing close to or via the fuel level sender. They also do a dished air cleaner base that could be powder coated ford blue (or left in bling) that would solve any clear...

Re: Tripo headlights
I've driven at night with the PL repros and they are OK and that was on unlit country A roads with standard H4 lamps fitted.
Yes I know they are twice the price. I even bought a spare set as I was told at the time it might be limited supply. But its a one off purchase and quickly forgotten

Re: Diff ratios (again)
I use a T5 5 speed box and that suits a 3.54 diff perfectly. More popular ratios are 3.31, 3.54 and 3.77. 3.07 were fitted in the XJ6/12 as a none locker. The difference from a 3.9 standard MGB Diff to the 3.54 Jag diff was not massive, but noticeable. So I'd imagine that the 3.07-3.33 would be slig...

I agree Migge,
I especially like the little touches such as Peters Aston Villa shirt and Kens Aston Villa scarf on the hook in the back of the pit garage.

Re: Forum dead?
This is generally a quiet time. Events are lacking, many people planning for the holidays and this is also coupled by the fact that many of the newer members tend not to use the forum. I've been busy, was at the show last weekend, work all week, picked up a 2 1/4 petrol engine for my Land Rover on F...
