Re: BRA COBRA EXHAUST

The stainless exhaust on my BRA with Rover V8 was made and fitted in Walsall, West Midlands. When a bracket broke after 10 years I took it back and they repaired it at no cost telling me it had a lifetime guarantee. That is now approaching 10 years ago.

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed

We are fine thanks - just a bit bored. We built new buildings on Rothera and Signy about 20-25 years ago. The only route home I think is (or certainly was) via Port Stanley although if the RAF flights were full then the route was via S America.

Sadly you are right Clive. Motorsport UK cancelled all of the event permits they had issued for this year and there will be more cancellations to come.

Re: Bushing bolt seized - now what?

Hi Dave,

I have a 12volt impact wrench I bought from Machine Mart a few years ago - you need to connect it to a 12v battery. It works pretty well for me.

Re: 289FIA build in Australia

Great to hear from you. My 289 is well and seems happy. It is a youngster compared to your car. Mine is BRA no 56, but it has been on the road for 31 years. I do some things to it most years but nothing major and we go on a few road trips etc etc. For more serious touring I bought a Porsche 968 abou...

Re: 289FIA build in Australia

I saw Aarons car in the UK before his uncle (who I think built it) took it out to Aus. I have a photo of it somewhere. How are you Aaron?
