Re: Ford 302

Hi Stu, I too would like to know the answers to these questions please? the cryptic stuff doesn't work for me I'm afraid. I asked Alan to ask this question, as a very good friend of mine is doing the engine conversion for him and he wants to know why standard shorty block huggers cant be used, as th...

Re: Well, that didn't fit

Hi Peter, the bigger engine should be going in, sometime in October all going well. I'm going to take the opportunity to detail the engine bay a bit more, and to fit the new rear valance and redo the rear end of the car. This will include fitting the L542 tail lights and reprofiling the rear arches ...

Re: Well, that didn't fit

Been busy making filter tops and bases for the Weber 44 IDF's. I've decided to fit the Webers instead of the 40 DRLA Dellortos as they're bigger and more suited to the bigger engine going in. I'm also fitting "Gurney Weslake" valve covers, just as GPG4C ran in the Modsports series back in the day. I...

Re: Silverstone Classic 2019

Got home safely, without any issues, but couldn't say it was an enjoyable ride as the rain was horrendous for the first three hours. Then, all of a sudden the sun came out, so I stopped, took off the side screens and had an enjoyable last hour to get home. What I found so nice about this club, is th...

Re: MOT and Emissions

Cars that have been SVA'd dont always show what the emissions should be tested at on the V5. Its always best to take documentary proof of the age of engine so that it can be tested to the correct emissions for that age
