Re: Bonnet/boot seal

Have fitted the same (black type) on my car. Untested in heavy downpours, but easy to apply, looks good, and gives a nice solid (but cushioned) base for the bonnet/boot to rest on.

Re: Covid 19

Thanks Allan - I am trying too!

Take a look at Japan (63 deaths, twice the UK population and ahead of us in time) or South Korea (162 deaths, 51M population and way ahead of us on the curve).

Re: Covid 19

Once again, I think your assessment is spot on Simon. I hit the like button.....that doesn't mean I like it! The effects of all the social mixing when the ssun came out is now feeding through into the UK death rate here, it'll be over 2000 lost by end of the week: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...

Yup, pretty much sums it up. :(
I have seen some work where thy are inoculating people with tiny amounts of virus to get an immunological response that doesn't put you into ICU(!), as severity appears to be due to the amount of viral load (how much infected CVD-19 droplet dose you breathed in).

Re: Winter Edition of T289R News

Just to say I thoroughly enjoyed reading my copy over a couple days last w/e - made a welcome break from the current problems.
Really good range of articles, and very professionally produced.

Re: Drama

As infection rates rise and lockdowns come in, we are going to have to get used to wearing face masks and standing 2m apart from each other. People have criticised me elsewhere for this, but new measures are pro-actively needed before we think we need them. The Italians and Spanish acted too late, a...
