Just spoken to my supplier and they have told me the've gone up to £68 + VAT including fitting and balancing, so £79.90 per corner. (I suppose that's inflation for you! [no pun intended])

Hi Kris, how would you calibrate a mechanical speedo for SVA if the rear diff ratio and tyre sizes are different from the original vehicle? :? It is easier to calibrate the electronic one, so I think that is the reason why they are used. :)

Hi Allan and welcome to the Forum. Thanks for the link, I'll give them a bell when I get the plate. I don't think it'll be any skin off their nose to do an AC plate, afterall they're not supplying the plate and the don't know it's not for a "real" AC.

Kris, as a general rule of thumb when fitting the carpets, I found that the edges that were not bound fitted under the bound edges of the adjoining piece allowing them to be trimmed. The only exception seemed to be the transmission tunnel. I glued the side and rear carpets with spray carpet adhesive...

Hi Kris, I know a small two man outfit who are absolutely superb on price. They will beat the big boys hands down! I had to replace all four tyres on my BMW330 Sport at the end of last year and the price they quoted me almost half the price of the "Big Boys" like Kwik-Fit, ATS and Target Tyres! :? I...

Would it be possible to have an index of usernames so we actually know who's who? This could be posted on the 289 register member's website so only paid up members can have access. This would make life a lot easier.
