Pete, your first statement is not true, unless you retain both the original vehicle chassis / monocoque and engine. Which is impossible when building a Hawk.

No new build will get historic status and all will have first registration as the date of first registration which will be post IVA. Whatever went on before is history. Hi Kev, Thanks, they were supplied by Ed at Wards so I'm assuming standard cables. When it comes to the brake lines, route them on the front face of the chassis cross member and use the welded in M6 male threaded stud to attach the t-piece connector (it's self explanatory if you have a look). They wont like the L542 rear lights either as the edges don't have a 2.5mm radius.
