Hi Guys Having owned my car for seventeen years I guess its about time I got in touch. The car is a 1988 B.R.A. Car Number 064, so quite early with the MK 1 chassis I believe. Hopefuly this will clear up any confusion over the numbers and dates on Ford 289 blocks. As can be seen the C5AE-6015E number is an engineering number introduced in 1965, but was also used in later years. The actual cast date and assmbley date info is in the text so you can precisely date your block...
