When my rack became poorly I bought a new stock MGB rack and swapped in the BRA input shaft, mind you the input was in good nick.

Study the top pic and you will see the cap has a PCV valve in the centre and the pipe goes to the base of the carb or spacer. The other cover can have a breather to atmosphere.

Good result Roger I drove my K code the other day, I had forgotten what a wall of torque the thing has. I will check my timing now as Martin did my distributor, I note your maximum advance figure with interest. I see Peter has the kit to cope with SU carbs, I will need his services when I re engine ...
