Re: RV8 rebuilders.....

I have recently spoken with these people as I am rebuilding one of their engines that was rebuilt a time ago. Despite me not being the original customer of the engine in question the Gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and gave me a lot of his time. I believe that they only offer a first class p...

Re: Cobra rocker covers

Study the top pic and you will see the cap has a PCV valve in the centre and the pipe goes to the base of the carb or spacer. The other cover can have a breather to atmosphere.

Re: Rolling Road session

Good result Roger I drove my K code the other day, I had forgotten what a wall of torque the thing has. I will check my timing now as Martin did my distributor, I note your maximum advance figure with interest. I see Peter has the kit to cope with SU carbs, I will need his services when I re engine ...

Re: BRA289 customized recreation

Migge
My engine does not produce much over std torque for a 3.9, it is quite fizzy and loves to rev :D
Glad you are back in the saddle.

Re: BRA289 customized recreation

The clutch should take that power all day long, it looks burnt like it has been slipping.
There should be freeplay at the release arm when clutch is engaged.
My BRA has 240 bhp with a Rover 3.9 and LT77 std clutch no probs.
