That looks much better. I went a similar route but with a 4:2:1 set up with alternate primaries paired. There is then a balance pipe connecting both sides immediately after they become single pipes. Each side then takes an S shape to feed Cherry Bombs with not much in them before they exit in the same place as yours. I've got an under floor tank at the back so no choice but I think that solution looks great. As does your car.

Have you noticed any difference to sound and more importantly, performance? When I rebuilt my engine I did all the internals first and ran it for a while before replacing the block huggers with the big bore stainless set up. At the same time (and after talking to lots of different people) I put a much bigger air cleaner on in order to get as much air as possible in to it - which is why being an early BRA it has the bigger hood scoop to make room. Think it was the K&N USA website where you shove in your engine size, state of tune etc to calculate air cleaner area required. Mine was only about 75% of what was recommended. Even after the ministrations of Cheng Lim at Thunder Road there was no way it would run to full revs without starvation ruining things - unless it was run without the air cleaner. That rather proved the point. Getting more air in and out made a noticeable difference and finally unlocked all the power from the other engine mods.

I have a spare one from my build. May it fits if you cut out some GRP. Can give you the dimensions if you are interested.
