Donor for sale

Post by Colin Newbold »

Hey everybody,

I was contemplating building up a Sebring kit. To be road registered but really a racer. Found a series that would accept it and everything. Went as far as a donor even. But can't really afford it right now. Not unless someone wants to jump in with me (Mr Woodward???? Gerry & Martyn???? Roger???).

So have a chrome bumper Rostyle BGT donor available. 79000 miles only and was running before I took the engine out for my B racer. Back axle is good and everything else is there. £3000 with COB81E id, £500 without (just the original V5).

COB81E was for sale recently wasn't it? I'm sure it was in a DVLA auction?

Am I losing my marbles?

Really? I've seen it much more recently.

Mind you, the plate companies quite frequently advertise registrations that aren't even for sale...

Nice plate!

Yeah, know about that 'Tapped'. They've had the plate for a while. "Overpriced" I keep telling 'em!

BTW, what do we call you?

Oh ok, thought it was a fake ad or something!

I'd like it for my DB but I'd probably be better spending the money on fuel to enjoy her

I grabbed "55 YWY" off eBay before Xmas as it just looked nice. She'll be going straight onto that at registration time

Cheers
