Membership Renewal

Post by andyg »

Can't find anything to suggest differently, but are the banking details for membership renewal the same as last year?

I think that's what I used. Details are here: http://www.the289register.com/the289reg ... 20Form.pdf

I put my membership number in the bank transfer so that John H can work out it's a payment from me.

Cheers,

Andy

I've had an email suggesting I've not paid but I can see my payment went out on the 5th Jan for £35.

We have membership numbers?? No idea what mine is... doesn't show on my profile, or anywhere else I can see.

The MOCGB forum shows your number next to your name when you post, which is the only way I remember that one, same for the MCR.
I've redone my standing order as the old one seems to have bounced back. Just used my name as ref.

As the ex-Membership Secretary I can tell you your membership number is on the Member's Database, the link for which is at the top of the page.
(If you can access this you are a better man than me.)
Cheers, Clive.

Your membership number is at the top of your details when you log into the membership database with your unique link.

If you've forgotten how to get that, or you've not read any of the emails or newsletter articles, click on the Members Database link at the top of this page. That will take you to the Members Database, once there, click the "Request Edit Link" at the top of the page and then enter your email address in the box provided. This MUST be the same address that you have previously provided as your contact email address otherwise you won't get in. That will send you an email with your unique access link. Click on the link in the email and that will take you to your details page when you can add or change your information.
You can add the link to your favourites if you wish because it doesn't change unless specifically requested.
Once you've logged into the database, you can also search and view other members' details.

I hope that helps.

Paul,

All that worked fine for me except that I couldn't change or add to my data.

I am of course an IT numpty! The world needs IT numptys!

Did you use the email link David? You can only edit your details if you login with the link on the email.
