Schuco 1/12 289 model

Post by Tapped »

Hi all

These are a steal at present. I just received one and it's lovely. It has proper pin drive wheels that you for with spinners that work too

Wow. They are still advertised with some sellers at £300 and above so I thought I'd grab one :-D

It's the first FIA model I have seen.
What do you think the chances are of being able to repaint in Viking Blue as per the '64 racers.

Just had confirmation that mine is on its way. Re reading the eBay advert it says 6 available and 18 sold ! Curious.
Me thinks I may have got the last at the offer price.
For those of you that want something different just look up the modelissimo web site for a whole array of Cobras.
There is a limited edition of a racing 289 with an aero screen.
Paul - Have you purchased a 289 or a 427 as they offer numerous options.
