Have been thinking about removing the rear silencers on my rover/MGb system. In order to get that more original look from the side as the pipes exit the rear. A little concerned about the noise level, problem is I have no idea what it sounds like anyway as I am only ever in the driving seat. Anyone else tried it with mg axle and rover?
Unfortunately i cannot access Rogers photos of his routing via the forum anymore. Is there another link to them for reference, the Kirkham looked perfect in the newsletter feature.

I think Roger ran his car without rear silencers and it was rather loud. His car was Ford and Jag rear but under slung system similar to an original.
Doubt there would be much difference with a Rover of similar capacity. My 4.6 Rover is fairly noisy on full throttle with four silencers.
