Absolutely fabulous Dave, I bet you're really pleased at the way it's turned out.

Dave,
Please excuse what may well be a stupid question. Why is the car being discharged from a truck.
After all your hard work and expertise in creating both the wonderful curvy bodywork and the detailed chassis surely you haven't then sub contracted out the under bonnet internal panels. Is this the same car or another one?
Perhaps it's just come back from the spray shop having the internals painted.
Needless to say I am confused.

Ahhhh. I think you have ended up with the wrong end of the stick somewhere.
Of the alu body cars I am involved in...
The 427 and the (coming soon) 289fia aluminium work is made and fitted to the UK made chassis in Poland (Not at Kirkham).
Both the chassis and body for the Coupe are made at another shop in Poland. And again not Kirkham.

OK I understand now.
Basically utilising their experience in the final fit up.
Anyway it all looks fabulous and gets me looking at my pension pot.
I am sure your cars will be discussed at the next 289 meeting.
