You should try the delicious aura of pre-gruntlement, the element of anticipation gets me every time

Ah, so you've been on the cocktails as well!
Re: For sale (again)
Some very interesting History on those two cars!
I am not sure i would touch either of them with a barge pole at those prices...
What one would you choose to buy? The one with no continuous history with the Original repaired body and chassis or the Repaired Car with a new chassis and body with the Original title...

Re: For sale (again)
This is the same issue that Steve Gray has with his car as I understand it.
Subject to how much of the original car actually survives, I would have thought that the "original" physical car was the most desirable and therefore valuable. But it would seem that the title carries far more value, regardless of that fact that it is associated with a totally unoriginal car.
That seems ludicrous to me.
If you had the money, you could buy both and reunite the title and original car, thereby significantly increasing its value and also have a very nice original spec "replica".

Or just buy one with a less colourful history.. If they were priced close to a good Continuation or Replica then i might be worth the effort, IMOPaul Blore wrote:

Re: For sale (again)
The way things are heading regarding "Historic Status" cars, I wouldn't be interested in either of them. If the Historic Vehicles proposals going through Parliament at the moment becomes law, then it could mean the end of traveling any great distance in a Historic vehicle. The mileage limit that's being bandied about is approximately 1200 miles per year. Don't shoot the messenger....
