AMP Guage for AC ACE

Very hard to find AC ACE amp gauge. This would need the chrome case/surround but dial and needle correct.

Best.

Hi Paul,

I found mine on e-bay, its correct in all respects except for being +-50 amps. It works well and to be honest unless your close to it, you cant tell the difference. I think the main thing is to have the needle pivoting from the top of the dial.

Hi Allan.

The needle is everything in terms of the Early ACE. They did change through the product of AC/Bristol/Ruddspeed engines.

This one on Ebay is 100% the real deal other than the outer case which should be chrome not brass! V. Rare.

I have a page dedicated to recreating AC ACE instruments and switches here if it is of interest to anyone.

It shows some of the easier to obtain instruments that can be modified to get the authentic ACE look.

The RPM gauge is the tough one due to the indicator warning lamp in the 6 O'Clock position.
