Rob Bremner was telling me about this last week but I couldn't find any more info. Well spotted!
Cheers, Clive.

I think that Nik would have to sell his whole body for scientific research, and that might just get him a wheel spinner . 39PH is allegedly up for a cool £3.5 million

I believe an original FIA car ( 1 of the 4 left) went for $4 million a few years ago. I guess this would be considered cheap against a Ferrari 250GTO at $10 + million.

Apart from the chassis plate and number plate how much else is original? (If those.)
Cheers, Clive.

Sigh.
Yes. Have known about this for some months now...
Quite a lot of it is actual bits of the car Dad owned, but there are a few bits I know of that are elsewhere! (Steering wheel & gearknob, for example.)

Oh yeah. Chassis plate definitely not original, but number plate is definitely what the Cobra was first registered!

Not forgetting original cars would have been well and truly thrashed thoughtout their racing lives will have been rebuilt many times as a result of crashes.
One would hope that 75% of the body and chassis were still original.
Gerry says he has a vintage broom. It’s only had three new heads and two new handles.
