Hawk build manual

Post by simonjrwinter »

I’ve got a Hawk build manual. On the first page it outlines the sections 1-6 with section 6 being SVA.
However, my build manual finishes at section 5.
Is there an SVA ( IVA) section available? I haven’t emailed Gerry yet.

The recommendation is always to download the correct class IVA manual from the direct gov website and cross check. The rules change and I don't think many of the kit manufacturers would update their manual to suit every change.
To answer your question, no there isn't an IVA specific build manual section from Gerry.
If you have any specific questions ask away.

Thanks Stu,
Yes, I’ve got copies of the IVA manual and IVA pass guide, just wondered if there was anything Hawk specific.

Hi Simon -

Nothing particular in the manuals as far as I know. I have been trying to collect build tips in the Wiki here" http://wiki.the289register.com/doku.php?id=tips:tips

If you're at IVA stage and have tips to add, please do so. I'm just starting the process of making sure my car is compliant too, so will add anything I can to this area.

Cheers,
Andy

Andy,
Excellent thank you. That will prove invaluable.
Things I have found really useful have been people failure points.....lots of “I didn’t realise that” moments.
