My kit is no 52 or 54 and left the factory in 1985 so if yours is no 112 then I guess 18 months or 2 years post 1985 would be about right.

I have car 64. It was originally built in 1988, it is a MK 1 although now much modified by me.
3.9 litre. big front brakes, rear discs, double wishbone front with coilovers, four linked rear with coilovers etc etc.

Former owner must have paperwork if he know's the number.
Cars had a brass plaque with the car number on it.

Above you state you bought the car in 1988, but now you say it was made in 1989 ?

Hmmmm

Hi All,

I have recently purchased a very nice Mk1 289 BRA Cobra replica. Details of my car are as follows:

Type: BRA 289 (No. 289057) - Presumably a MkI (?)
Engine: Rover V8, 3528cc , 4 speed gearbox
Color : Black
Interior : Red Leather

The car was built in in Aberdeen, Scotland between 1985 and 1989 based on the history information received with the car. I hope to find out more about the cars history if I can make contact with the original builder.
