My FiA has MGB front & Jag rear.
I was fortunate to be offered a new but surplus set of CR6ZZ’s at a bargain price, 225/65 front, 275/55 rear.
To be honest, if I’d been choosing the size, it would have been 225/60 & 295/50, the n/s front 225/65 has made contact with the arch at full compression, and I think the 295 would fill the rear arch better!
I’m running 22psi front, 24 rear, but on long journeys run 28-30 all round.

Car came with Cooper Cobras. Horrible.
I ran Dunlop Racing 5.50x15 front, 6.50/15 rear, OMG they look great but are terribly twitchy on anything less than circuit-smooth roads.

Nik.
I assume you are on 7.5” and 9.5” width rims as putting 275’s on 8.5” would be a over done?

According to Avon you could go up to 295 on an 8.5” rim.
But yes, 7.5/9.5. 👍🏻
