Firstly you have to find the avatar you want to use, I used a Google search under "Avatars" to find both mine and Bill's. Once you have found what you want, save it on your computer, then in the 289 register click on"profile" and download the saved avatar in your profile, simple! :?
Cheers, Clive.

Hi Dave

You can do this in something like PaintshopPro. Select the picture you want to use, select image resize and set the width to 80 pixels, the height should automatically resize to something like 53 pixels.

Save the image to your hard drive.

Go on to the Forum and select your profile. Down towards the bottom is the area to link your picture as an avatar. I have just done mine when you asked the question. You can change it as often as you like.

If you don't have Paintshop send me the image and I will change it for you.

Regards

Richard

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping that somebody had found a nifty way of placing an image of your choice onto a moving flag using something like paintshop.

I'll hunt around and update my profile as you suggest.

Mr woodward,

I havent spoken to you for ages, its kris, i mailed you a couple of times with a few questions, abt 18 months ago, you had that nifty website!!

I thought you had givern up with your build as when I last spoke you had not done anything for ages, didnt think you were a memeber of the club!

hello again!!

If you want to add a picture to a flag or something like that, personalising you can do that with some software call giff animator.

you can taka a picture and then aminate it the create it into a giff format

Kris / Dave

As you are both now flying the St Georges Cross, I think this would be a good time for you to use your "family" flag Kris !!!!!!
I don't know of anyone else who has a family flag
