How familiar the noise is to me as well.
I've just had a temp crown put in, but have been in such pain for the last two weeks my tooth is coming out tomorrow instead.
Although tomorrow I'll be hearing the sound of gear crunching I suspect! :shock:
Have the Ibuprofen ready for the evening just as a precaution - as long as you're not asthmatic, that is
