Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the drop in speed of loading forum pages since it was upgraded?
(My download speed is 1.8 mbs and upload 0.33.)

I'd noticed that today as well. It thinks about it for a bit, then appears. But I've only noticed it today - prior to that, it had been normal I think. Have you been experiencing slowness for more than a day or two?
That said, I've just tried it now, and it seems quick.
It could be to do with the new theme, which I could disable and we could re-test to see if the problem goes away. Let me know if you still have the issue and we can pursue the problem a bit.

Seems better now although slower than other websites. Perhaps it's all the rain we're having.

Seems quick to me now too, but was definitely pausing before showing the whole page earlier today.
Did you notice this before today, Clive? I am wondering whether it is the new theme I put on after taking the Christmas one off - I had to do some 'under the bonnet' changes, so I could have messed soemthing up.
Keep an eye on it and let me know if you experience it again...
