3-D printed 'Cobra Replica'

Yikes:

It's a bit of a googly-eyed monster. The technology is impressive, but I would definitely be printing something else on my 3D printer.

The company my wife works for are working on printing replacement internal organs. Livers and stuff are possible now but printing the internal blood vessels not quite there yet. Once they've perfected that, you will of course need to be in favour of harvesting stem cells so that your body doesn't reject your own replacement organs. Wonder if I'll need AF or Whitworth spanners for a body of my age. Robin

I think it's really exciting technology and I have no problem with any "ethical" issues in this regard. Harvesting stem cells is already in regular use for intensive chemo treatments, so I don't see that this is any different really.

Bring it on! :)

Just so long as they don't print me a new face that looks like the one on that cobra.

What is it with all of these horrible looking Cobras at the moment. We'll have to have a Crimewatch edition on these as they look as bad as the photofit images would look!
It's not an issue with the 3D printing, its the dude at the CAD station with impaired vision that is at fault!

Stu - maybe they had Stevie Wonder operating the CAD station. And just in case you haven't seen it, check out James Corden/Stevie Wonder car share on YouTube.
