An odd one

Post by agnoraan »

This is an odd one, I can't say I've ever seen one before. An ali bodied Triumph Dolomite base of all things, trying to look like an upmarket car

As I remember it, the Rio used the central tub of a Dolomite Sprint but had that redesigned front and rear sections. Don't know how much of it was aluminium. It was a very classy job when it was new, but as the Dolly Sprint was a pretty class act itself it struggled at the price.
