Another odd one

Post by amulheirn »

This cobra replica being auctioned by Brightwells has an estimate value of 15-18K. It is a 'Bessia Biscayne' which I've never heard of before.

Be warned though - there are some elements to this build that aren't quite 'period correct':

Never heard of them.

I have to say, though, taken entirely on its own for what it is and not what it is trying to be, I quite like the actual body shape. The full rear view in particular has a nice element of 'D' type Jag about it. Interior would need a bit of work though, probably along the lines of a rigid passenger seat cover, go to a single aeroscreen, some matt black wrinkle finish here and there... should go OK with that motor, too, but a little work on the ride height would help

The dashboard looks like a piece of woodwork I did at school - I think that would be the first to get hosed-down with crinkle finish paint!
