I think I see a potential emissions problem in this picture:

They must be fine, they're part of Volkswagon!

Re: Lamborghini emissions
I'm sure they're a fantastic car with warp speed performance, but does anyone else think they're getting a bit too Max Power these days?

Does absolutely nothing for me, I'm afraid - teenager's idea of what a car should look like, maybe? Very embarrassing to be seen in...

That's it Roger. I have no idea who they're designing them to appeal to. The only people who seem to buy them are spoilt off-spring of rich Arabs.
I can't see these cars having the same style or appeal of a Miura in 50 years time.

Re: Lamborghini emissions
Completely agree. Although on your point of the appeal of a Miura, have you ever sat in one whilst it's running? As a direct comparison,* I'd rather have the Mini... and the Miura copied the Mini anyway. Well, OK, its transfer gear arrangement copied the Mini's.Paul Blore wrote:That's it Roger. *there may be an element of 'tongue-in-cheek' about that remark, but not as much as you might think

I've never sat in a Miura, running or otherwise, but they look absolutely gorgeous in my view.

Re: Lamborghini emissions
Well if I won the lottery I'd buy one tomorrow. Definitely prefer the design ethos over the modern Ferrari's. They are outrageous and imaginative in their styling. Ferrari's have become rather bland.

Re: Lamborghini emissions
Really??
I'm not a fan of modern Ferraris either, although by all accounts they're phenomenal cars to drive. But the Lamborghini in the picture linked above is too radical for my conservative tastes. The Huracan looks really good though, so I'd be happy with one of those.

This is definitely the Lambo for me:

(and I'm sure Clive would appreciate that),
...although a little bit of me has always fancied one of these:
