Re: Off-topic question....
I'd have to say XKSS on rarity alone.
Having just taken delivery of a new Jaaaaaag myself, this is pretty well on-topic for me.

No contest - XKSS all the way. Not really that much of a Jag lover - I've never fancied an E-type, don't like the look (try parking one next to a Cobra - no contest).
Having said that, I might have a very good 'in' to this in the New Year -

My office is just off Browns Lane and I've used the old Trust building a few times for small seminars we've arranged, with access to the collection. But We haven't used the new facility yet. I'll watch with interest Roger.

Re: Off-topic question....
I've always thought the E-type a bit 'boaty', and much prefer the XKSS.
Then again, I think I'd have a C-type actually> http://www.autoblog.com/2015/07/07/petr ... ype-video/

Totally superb... I think that would be my next build if I'm not broke first. Was it a Realm, or a Suffolk, or a genuine Jag?

I'm sure Dale will be back to answer for himself, but I think it was a case of "an offer he couldn't refuse".

Re: Off-topic question....
McQueen's XKSS is in the Petersen not far from Leno's place and I hear the Continuation/Replica is also in there for a while. While I'd always want a D-Type, for me the road stuff added to turn it into an XKSS made it look a bit cumbersome. Sorry. Spent some time with a well sorted E-Type roadster but it always felt a bit ordinary. The Eagle Roadster on the other hand was much much better and close to the sort of thing 289 owners might prefer. But got to agree that Dale's former C-Type is something else and I'd have that any day of the week. A close call but this is still top of my "I'm going to have one of those one day" list.
