I can recommend watching the program on building the re creation of 9 XKSS Jaguars on channel 4. It was last night so you will now need to watch on catch up.
So you think we have issues of lack of space to fit things. The bonnet wouldn’t fit first time as the clearance was too tight.
Colin there’s a good bit on the installation of the fuel tank.

I had only seen the new build of the lightweight E Type - again a car for those who have very deep pockets.
It’s nice to know that the Engineering exists to create such bespoke items.

This months TotalKitCar mag had a section on replicas excluding cobras and 7s. A lot of high value replicars in there, and intriguingly an XKSS marketed by AK Sportscars. Not sure if this was a misprint as i can;t find anything on the web.
