FAO 289 ADMIN LOG IN PROBLEM

I sent a message to 289 admin, but I see it is stuck in my outbox along with another message I sent to a member in July ?

My friend on here, Hobbs, is unable to log in as his account has locked him out, would a kind admin bod sort this out for him please.

You may have to be a bit patient as I know Andrew is very busy at his full time job.
There are gremlins cropping up from time to time as with any software system.

Seem to recall deleting the ‘s’ in the https might allow login.

I seem to remember that someone found out that messages stay in the out box until the recipient reads them.
Ref Admin not having sorted the problem since July, did you make them aware of the problem back then?
They can only start to resolve an issue if they know about it.

I did not know there was a message sent in July still in my outbox until I sent the message to admin the other day, then I noticed it.
So now there are two messages, the one to Admin re Hobbs as well.

Difficult to let Admin know about unsent messages, as the message to let them know that previous messages have not been sent likely won't send !

This is the reason for starting the thread, I hoped someone from Admin would respond ........

OK that works, you received it, read it, and my outbox total dropped by one.

So the reason my outbox is holding onto messages is the recipients are not reading them. That situation is out of my control.

Yes you’re right - messages stay in the outbox until the recipient opens it. Counter-intuitive I know, but I can’t change this unfortunately.

With regard to login issues, there is an ‘I forgot my password’ link on the login page that you can click to reset your password. It works pretty much like every other website- sends you an email with a link to click on that allows a password reset.
