Hi all
I am trying to get a crowd together for the Cranleigh Classic on Sunday 14th Aug. If enough people show an interest then I intend to ask the organisers to reserve a spot for the ' 289 Register'
This is normally quite a big event with 1500-2000 classics together with the associated stalls and certainly worthy of attendance. If you register your car on line then it gets into the brochure.
Entry is FREE for classic car drivers and one passenger with others paying £7. The event is organised by the local 'Lions' so all proceeds go to charity.
Please PM me if you are able to attend so that I can collate numbers.

Re: Cranleigh classic
I'm up for this, but probably won't have a workable vehicle by that stage, so I'll be attending on foot!
If anyone is bringing a car along, please add your name to this discussion thread so Peter knows how many might be attending - he will then register for the club.

I would be interested in attending this event - as ever subject to getting the day off work!

I've got the event in the diary, but unless I make huge progress, won't be bringing a car.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Re: Cranleigh classic
Dear all -
We've got a stand, but need to know numbers of cars that will be attending. Four club members are bringing cars at present.
Please can you reply on this thread or email Peter and I before the 22nd May (this weekend) if you plan to come along?
It’s free for you and one passenger if you bring a car, but anyone you have stashed in the boot will have to pay £7.
And also don’t forget there’s an autojumble - just think of the hours you can spend looking through old tat that you don’t need!

Hi Tony,
I notice that this was your first post, so welcome to the forum.
A word of advice if I may, I wouldn't recommend using your full email address as your forum user name because it can be picked up and used to bombard you with spam and junk mail. If you'd like it changing, let me know and I'll do it for you. Many people just use their full name i.e. Anthony Mawson.
Regards,
Paul
