Anyone fancy organising a day out in support of this? There's even a rally plate available at a cost:

Here's a possible destination - Bicester Heritage's scramble on the same day: http://bicesterheritage.co.uk/whaton/su ... ve-it-day/

Hi John - not yet got a 'pass' for this, but I'll let you know if I can make it.
On a related note, I discovered this rather cool road-trip planning website. Here's a quick example I just did as an experiment - no need to come and pick me up!
https://roadtrippers.com/map?a2=p!vp,t! ... 8743867127
A few observations:
You can switch on and off various layers to show interesting things you may want to go and see.
You can also select to avoid 'highways'.
It allows you to add a car to it so you can calculate fuel costs, but I doubt they will have a Cobra in the list, and it doesn't go back beyond 1983 anyway.
Seemed a bit flaky trying to route across the channel, but I got it to work eventually.

Is anybody else besides Ian Millar and myself going to Bicester? Ticket costs less than £5 on-line.

I am hoping to make it John. Tickets bought, but car on axle stands as having to replace clutch slave cylinder. As ever not a standard item on my car and was actually installed by Barry and Cheng last time round - they had to mod the cylinder to suit so proving slightly challenging!
Also changing a brake line which I think had a slight weep.
I have moved house recently hence only getting these things done now.

I can't make it unfortunately - I have a car to finish.
Please can someone get a group photo if you all meet up?

Looks like I’m sitting out Drive It Day this year.
beyond repair, new set on their way from Gerry.
It’s not a surprise, but much worse than I expected... beyond repair, new set on their way from Gerry.

When I started this, I thought I had all the time in the world...then I was invited to display the Cobra at Stoneleigh...
as of 23:50, the car is now in one piece and should be on the SVC Stand, hopefully see ya there.
