I can't come to this unfortunately - I have an un-moveable family event on that day.

Good news is that the registration deadline has been extended to the 8th July, so hopefully a few more people can register and come along. Make sure you use club code 9WSTC89 when you sign up:

For those who have registered for this year's show, there is an important message from the Show Organiser which I repeat below.
I've also included a link to the show map and we are in area E11.

From the Organisers:-
There are two important pieces of information about Sunday's show.

Firstly, we have been advised by Cranleigh Fire Service NOT to have any barbecues on Sunday
due to the dry condition of the showground and surrounding area. This includes the public
car park and the field the show takes place in.

Secondly, Barhatch Road, close to the Cranleigh Showground, is currently closed for gas works,
which means if you are travelling from the Guildford direction you must drive through the
middle of Cranleigh and not via Smithwood Common Road, nor Horseshoe Lane/Amlets Lane.
You can see details of this and other road closures in Surrey using this link:

Show Map:-
https://www.cranleighlions.org/classic- ... itches.php

For those who attended last year it’s almost in the same position.
For others - you enter the field part way down on the RH side but are required to drive to the far end and then cross to the opposite side from where you entered and then drive down the LH side almost down to the end.
We are not far from the eateries and toilets. In front of us will be 120 American cars and behind us our friends in the Cobra Club.

I am aiming for 8.30.
The gates open for classics at 7.30 and the public roll in from 9.30.
Bring your hood as it looks like it will be raining at some point during the day.

Hi Tony,
Yes, good to meet up and a surprising number of classics even if the weather forecast put some off.
Our friends nearby on the CRC pitch had a higher attrition rate than us.
If I had known that the rain wasn’t going to be heavy I would have made do with the tonneau. I could have enjoyed the drive both ways instead of having the hood up.
