Re: Club Stand, Silverstone
I keep forgetting to look for that piece of fuel hose for you Peter. Am putting it in my reminders for when I am back! Will let you know.
Re: Club Stand, Silverstone
Peter, in my Magnum 10 years ago, I got a spare tank inside the rear wing connected with some overflow tubes to the main tank. That tank sat a bit lower and the connection to fuel pump went from there. Also the fuel sender unit was in the smaller tank. That gave me another 15 Ltr.

Thanks Migge,
The Hawk only has half that height in the wing area as the boot floor continues across to the wing. I have a small bag that fits into that area for clothes when going away anywhere!
I have seen someone just get rid of the spare wheel and fit a tank into the well or I could just extend the tank to the rear and over hang the well.
However having heard a few horror stories of relying on spray cans to re inflate I would be nervous of getting rid of the spare.

I don't really see the need for a larger fuel tank. With my Ford 302 I get around 200 miles per tank, and that seems to coincide with the need for a toilet break.
Cheers, Clive.
