Anyone thinking of going to Brooklands on Tuesday for their New Year gathering?
Weather looking dry between now and then and no salt on the roads yet (down here anyway).
Good chance to blow the festive cobwebs away!

Brooklands New Years Day
Re: Brooklands New Years Day
Hi Andy,
Decided to pluck up the courage to drive open top in the cold. Have just bought my ticket.
I’ll pm you my mobile number.

Good to hear Peter. Not too cold for this time of year!
See you there

Yes, a nice drive up in company with some other classics including an AC Aceca. Kept warm surprisingly with the Irvin flying jacket. Actually a bit over warm when walking around the grounds.
Didn’t like the long queue to get in.
1hr 20mins to travel less than 3 miles!
Puts me off when thinking of attending next year.
Thought I had plenty of petrol when I left home but the long queue got me panicking as the gauge carried on down well below 1/4.
When I finally found a space to park I thought I was running on fumes but thankfully it was only the effect of the banking section! More than enough to get back out and to the nearest petrol stn.
Decided to leave early whilst the queue to get out was moving. It would have been good to see the exhibits and see what improvements they have made over the last few years.
It was interesting to visit Brooklands Cars Ltd at the top of the test hill. Numerous Cobra’s, Aceca’s and a Greyhound plus other marques. Quite a few mid renovation.
