Silverstone 2024

Post by simonjrwinter »

Has the club display discount been issued yet? I can’t see it in the latest issue of the magazine.

You're keen! No discount code has been received so far.

I think they suggested the costs were going up in January.

I spoke with Silverstone by email on 23rd Nov, probably when I got an email to say car club display tickets were available, the codes were available then, so were the early bird prices.

I can’t say I am particularly keen at £105 just for one day. Plus the hotel for two nights!

I agree Peter, along with the cost of fuel and food it makes for an expensive weekend. There also seems to be fewer cars overall including T289R. Also there seems to be more emphasis on it being a “Festival” rather than a classic race meeting where you had access to the pits and other areas.
Cheers, Clive.

Regular Saturday is £85 for ONE person, parking free
Club discount: you add £20 for parking your car inside and have tickets for TWO persons = £52.50 per person. Not that bad.

Regular weekend is £135 for ONE person, parking free
Club discount: £130 for parking your car inside and tickets for TWO persons = £65 per person. Not that bad.

Worst case: if you go as single and can't sell the other ticket, it still cost you £130. Just £5 less than the regular ticket. Only advantage is parking inside.

I would agree Migge if you can sell the other ‘spare’ ticket.
