Hello electrician guys.
Will a 45 AH battery be enough for the RV8? I used on my CSB a 80 AH.
I can't find the smaller dimension battery L:236mm x W:128mm x H:220mm with more AH.
Or I'll mount a regular size battery into the boot.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Re: Battery
I do have a 60 Ah for the Cobra, but we run Marcos MGB V8,3,5l, which normally has two 6 V batteries, with a single 12 V 45Ah

Migge,
I use one of these in my BRA. Very tight fit in the inner front wheel arch but it does go in there.

Thanks,
But no chance Robin. GRP naked was 170 space and now with the aluminium panels only 162 mm
I'll try this one:

Just a thought are you trying to mount the battery near the bottom of the gap between inner wing and footwell as I can't understand how you have lost so much space with only one thin layer of Ali on the inner wing. The footwell should be left as white fibreglass!
My Hawk supplied battery shelf is 185 wide and mounted some 200 up from the bottom. The 60amp battery is 175 wide x 175 high.

Re: Battery
Peter,
The BRAs defferent in many many areas and as I wrote: GRP naked was 170 space and now with the aluminium panels only 162 mm. I laminated 3 or 4 layers of additional GRP, was a bit flimsy. Plus the aluminium, plus no straight vertical walls. And if I mount a battery in front of the car, it should be as low as possible.
The decision was:

Re: Battery
Are we going to see you at Silverstone Classic Migge? And in the Executor?

Re: Battery
Hi Colin,
many different circumstances are responsible for getting the Executor not ready, very bad I know. I hope to get it finished this year anyway. So I'm not going to Silverstone and meet you and the other guys
