Is the 'reflector' half of the fitting going to be transparent enough to let the light through from the inside? I've never looked at these fittings up close...

Very nice Alan. My only concern would be the exposed wiring which might lead to shorting out and the risk of a fire in your boot which we saw at Le Mans several years back. A rubber boot over them would be worth considering.

These look great, and will certainly help with safety - but am I right in thinking they still won't pass IVA as they are not visible from the sides?
