As always, just as you get ready for a trip away - problem!
I have a leak from the big hose that goes from the side of the water pump (Rover V8 - SD1 water pump) to the bottom of the rad via a length of metal pipe, and have no idea from which vehicle this came from. Will replace all of them now, so would also like guidance on the other hoses, i.e. Gerry's header tank to radiator, and the radiator bottom hose at the other end of afore-mentioned pipe.
Suggestions gratefully accepted, pretty please!

Re: Hose replacement
Hi Brian,
SD1 Top hose cut into 2 will do the top. BV8 bottom hose (2 ends are different sizes), cut into 3 with a couple of tube spacers will do the bottom end.
Regards
Allan

Thanks Alan,
on my way to Halfords !
Incidentally I had a email from Gerry re this and he advised part QH RH994 apparently from a FORD TRANSIT MK1 PETROL 1598CC 12-35CWT (1970-on) BOTTOM RADIATOR.
SD1 hose should be easier!
Regards

Re: Hose replacement
Brian,
Suspect Halfords wont be much help as both cars are not 'Current'. I got my SD1 hose from Rimmers and BV8 hose from MG specialist, in my case 'MG Mecca'.

Noted!
Thanks again Alan.
Thanks again Alan.
Re: Hose replacement
Found Classic Silicone Hoses very good - I used an SD1 set plus an additional bottom hose - not cheap but look well made

Re: Hose replacement
I have a similar problem to the OP but am running a Ford 351w. Would the MGB V8 bottom hose be a suitable replacement - with some fine tuning?
The part being replaced is a quinflex bottom water hose but cannot seem to find a similar product online.
Thanks!
