I think i have identified my exhaust headers [MGB V8 "huggers headers"]. Last year they were repaired and are still working, but i am trying to locate a set of stainless steel ones.
Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance

Have you tried Rimmer Bros?
I know they do quite a few stainless variants.

Even better, put it on the Wiki. This section seems like a good one: http://wiki.the289register.com/doku.php ... ts:exhaust
Pics of what you're fitting would be very handy too. Let me know if you have any questions - wiki@the289register.com

Re: Rover V8 Exhaust Manifolds
I most certainly will for the wiki, she goes in on the 9 May for 2 weeks with a list.
Strange actually, I spoke to Mr Andrew Soar [he did an engine change many moons ago], extremely helpful. Tried to find/source any type of header hugger [mild or stainless] - to no avail, lots of adverts but "nil stock".
I then sent some pictures to my mechanic, rang him to confirm receipt and he informed me he had already found and ordered in stainless at a lower cost then i could see advertised! - i will find out where from.

Andy Soar highly recommended for that. He is a mate but don't hold that against him. Robin
Re: Rover V8 Exhaust Manifolds
Robin, he did mention you Black BRA with a blue nose. I said you had very kindly sent me the manual and some older photos......
He also said a colleague of his also has a black bra.....
A very nice gentleman and full of knowledge, about mine in particular!
