Anyone know where I can get original racing style tin rocker covers in pale gold with the twin oil filler stacks? Were they twin on both banks Roger?

I don't know much about racing Cobras, Colin, mainly because they were all different and changed all the time! AC didn't build any racing cars (except one), Shelby did all that, and my principal interest has always been AC. The various varieties of covers with the XP-type twin tall breathers that I've seen have been made by the owners, I think - should be easy enough to do. I'm sure one of the race-replica chaps will be along to help, or you could try Falcon experts - they might know.

You going for 260-style side-draught Webers too? Would those tall breathers be allowed on a racetrack these days without some internal modification?

Aren't these 'handed' Migge? Wouldn't I be buying two with breathers for the same bank?

Have you seen the correct period caps for sale?

SBF valve covers are not usually handed, so they shouldn't be.

If this is the caps that you mean Colin, they are readily available (along with the decals) from Summit Racing. Can also get them in the UK from Mustang Maniac.
Have a look at mine at the NEC and we can have a chat
