Ferrules!

Post by Marsh »

From the sublime, to the ridiculous...

I need some ferrules to fit into my door tops. Having conducted some online research it would appear that they're available from the usual sources, but appear surprisingly expensive from the likes of Acton and Europa.

I understand that Gerry has them too; would that be the most sensible route; or is there another that I'm not yet aware of?

If you get them from Gerry he will at least remember to send you both sizes!

Thanks Allan

But will he be happy to sell me some if they're not for a Hawk; that's my biggest concern.

Gerry will be only too happy to sell you bits. But you have to decide what sidescreens you are going to use - I think (please check with him) Hawk and original use different diameter pins (and therefore ferrules).
