Just worked a gentle curve into it over time. Now happens to follow the curve of the bonnet beautifully.

Dave.
Bonnet???? :?
Cheers, Clive.

I'll say it again - originals were flat.

Sorry Clive, I meant boot :D

Yes Paul it's in the right place, and there are no perfectly flat spots on a 289 boot.

...which is why there's a slight gap.

Removing the gap was a simple enough task when I built the car.

Trying to help Homewood with his question if that is what he would prefer to do.

Been in IT all my life but struggle with this web app...just lost my last posting.

Anyway thanks for all your help and yes I understand it's flat, just look crap.

Hope to have a hood fitted for silverstone if anyone can look at my other post 're sidescreens I'd like to see some pics of where the sidescreen meets the front windscreen. Clive from the trimmers seems to think mine should sit on the hood bar at the front not inside it.

Anyway look forward to meeting you all at silverstone I think.....

Cheers
Tony

Sorry Dave, I meant Homewood, not you. :)

I realise there isn't a flat spot, but the curve does reduce the further up you go.
