Thanks Roger, so a successful outcome that we can all copy if we are concerned at the late illumination of the brake lights.
I confess that I try to not leave my braking till late, thus avoiding heavy braking so it will apply to my car.
Just thinking why does a respected American manufacturer ( Harley Davidson) use a BSP thread instead of UNF?
Does Mr Trump know about this?

They don't, Peter - NPT stands for National Pipe Thread, and is American as far as I'm aware.

Yes, you did say NPT and not BSP earlier in your posting.
What do they say - assume makes an ass of you and me. Well me on this occasion.

Just thinking I should get this modification done now before I fill the brake system... Is there any reference we need to give Automec when asking for this, or a particular person we should speak to Roger?

My invoice lists product code of HU31SPECIAL - but you could quote my invoice number, which is 86669, order number 17942.
First, check that this will work for a Hawk, as my braking system is to AC spec not Hawk. Probably is, but you need to be sure.
