Hi -
I see in the IVA manual that the minimum height of the indicators is 350mm - page 188 here: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... manual.pdf
Does anyone know if that is to the centreline of the indicator, or to the bottom of the fitting? (I do know that with the dipped beam minimums it is to the mark on the lens, not the the bottom of the fitting)
Cheers,
A

Muchas gracias Dave.

Andy, I made sure by having the suspension up as high as I could. I wanted to the get the indicators in the right place for the car.

Look at section 20 Installation of lights and page 1 of 10 confirms Dave’s comment. Min distance is to illuminated outer edge.
Interestingly this has changed since 1999. My hard copy of the then SVA manual clearly shows a diagram giving dimensions to the centreline.
Looks like I need to revisit my front suspension height.
