Has anyone used a heater from these guys? https://www.t7design.co.uk/products/hea ... aters.html
What sort of space is available behind the dash?
Thanks

Re: Hawk heater query
Simon, I have not used this supplier but would recommend that you use the Hawk recommended item as it will most likely work correctly without mods.
I used a Europa 3SHB unit and can advise it’s short falls.
Depite having the motor on top the water connections were a little high compared to the engines water system, thus I needed to raise the water level to avoid air being trapped in the heater circuit.
Another point to look out for is whilst it has four outlets only 2 are hot air. You need two for demisting for the screen but a big plus point in cold weather is having hot air to the footwells as well.
You can use the dims of the Europa item to gauge what will fit and find something lower profile.

I used something similar to this: https://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/Blac ... 64315.html
and for the fan I used this: https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-detai ... ND/2560583 (This is a really powerful and noisy - not your typical computer fan)
This went under the footwell on each side - although this is for a Dax.

Finally sorted Dax 'AC 289' after 4 years in the wilderness.
Re: Hawk heater query
You would need to provide ducting to get it up to the screen.

I got mine from Hawk to and fitted no problem although as Peter says care needs to be taken to get the height right for the water intakes. I did need to fill the heater directly from the top hose connections just to be sure!.
Built St Piran Hawk289FIA in Scotland!
