There’s no handbrake warning switch on my car. I’m going to put one in, but haven’t yet found the wires for it from the loom. Before I run new wires and splice them into the circuit, where should I be looking on the loom for these wires? Is it run from the dash loom or should there be “tails” somewhere else on the loom I should be looking?
Thanks
Simon

Re: Handbrake switch wires
The handbrake warning switch is also part of the low brake fluid warning circuit and is used as a way to test that the low fluid circuit/bulb is working. The actual switch is located under the handbrake lever. I cannot make out where the wiring actually goes but it looks like it comes from under the dash.
Cheers, Clive.

Thanks Clive, I’ll have a gander when I get the dash off.

Re: Handbrake switch wires
I'm sure the wires come from the dash and are parallel to those used for the reverse switch.
