IRS Rear caliper removal

Is this possible with the whole thing in the car?

Simon,
You may find that no one has ever needed to do that task. The nearest job I have had to do is remove the handbrake pads to clean them up following their glazing up. Yes, rather tight.
Having undone the bolts and hydraulics you may have to slide the calliper round the disc until you gain more room before pulling it off the disc.
Sorry can’t comment further.

Thanks Peter, I’ve accessed the callipers and now don’t need to take them off. I cycled the pistons in and out a few times to make sure they weren’t sticking, but the pads are very soft so I’ll be replacing them.
