Can I ask what type of jack do people use for roadside repairs, and where to buy one?
I am also interested to hear what jacking points people use. I have always found this a bit of a pain on low slung cobras,
Scissor (or other) jacks
Re: Scissor (or other) jacks
I use a Halfords scissor jack with a block of 2x2 wood between the jack and outer chassis rail next to the sill. I wouldn't trust it though and always place a wheel under the car just to be safe. Emergency only!!!
Cheers, Clive.

Another scissor Jack here. At least you can get it under the car if the tyre is totally shot.
